Living Context: Embodied Journaling Experience

I wanted to create a space where Black women can slow down, reflect, and be intentional about how they’re showing up in their own lives.

That’s what Living Context is.

This experience is an extension of the Living Context documentary — which centers Black women in conversation with their own stories, identity, and the process of defining themselves on their own terms.

On April 4th, we’re bringing that conversation into the room.

What you can expect:

There will also be space for shared reflection, if you feel comfortable.

We’ll also be creating a collective canvas piece, where everyone contributes a word or phrase — something that represents their perspective, their story, or where they are right now.

Capacity is limited, so please RSVP to secure your spot.
Light refreshments will be provided.

This experience will be filmed as part of the Living Context documentary. Participation is optional, and a consent process will be available at the door.
